Summer 2021 is over. And sadly, asides from Marvel’s Shang-Chi, there aren’t many new films coming out in theatres this month. Luckily, streaming services are here to save September from being a month without movies. And so without further delay here are what Movies, Series, and Animations to watch in September 2021. Enjoy.
A. In Theatres
1. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (September 3rd)
Where to Watch:
Synopsis: After years of running from his past, Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) is forced to confront his demons when he’s drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings Organisation.
B. Netflix
2. Money Heist Part 5 Volume 1 (September 3rd)
Where to Watch:
Synopsis: With Nairobi dead, and the Professor captured, the first volume of Money Heist part 5 sees the group faced with difficult choices as their thrilling assault on the bank of Spain comes to an end.
3. Worth (September 3rd)
Where to Watch:
Synopsis: Worth sees Michael Keaton star as Kenneth Feinberg, a renowned D.C attorney who battles against cynicism, bureaucracy, and politics to help the victims of 9/11.
4. Kate (September 10th)
Where to Watch: Coming Soon
Synopsis: Meticulous and preternaturally skilled, Kate is the perfect specimen of a finely tuned assassin at the height of her game. But when she uncharacteristically blows an assignment targeting a member of the yakuza, she quickly discovers she’s been poisoned and has less than 24 hours to exact revenge on her killers. As her body swiftly deteriorates, Kate forms an unlikely bond with the teenage daughter of one of her past victims.

5. Malignant (September 10th)

Synopsis: Malignant follows the story of Madison, a woman who is paralyzed by shocking visions of grisly murders. However, Madison’s torment worsens when she finds out that these horrible dreams are actually terrifying realities.

6. Star Wars: Visions (September 23rd)

Synopsis: Star Wars Visions is an anthology anime series that sees Seven Japanese animation studios bring their unique touch and perspectives to the Star Wars Universe through a series of short films.
E. Prime Video
7. Cinderella (September 3rd)
Where to Watch:
Synopsis: Cinderella is a modern movie musical with a bold take on the classic fairytale. Our ambitious heroine (Camila Cabello) has big dreams and with the help of her Fab Godmother, she perseveres to make them come true.
8. The Voyeurs (September 10th)
Where to Watch: Coming Soon
Synopsis: After moving into their new apartment, a young couple find themselves becoming increasingly interested in the sex life of their eccentric neighbors across the street. However, what starts out as innocent curiosity, soon turns into a full-blown obsession when they discover that one of their neighbors is cheating on their partner.
